School Site Council
The purpose of the School Site Council (SSC) is to work with the school principal to develop, review and evaluate the school’s plan for assuring and improving academic achievement of all children – especially children of socioeconomically disadvantaged families and english language learners. The SSC, an elected body of representatives, reviews the principal’s plan for assuring achievement (called the Single Plan for Student Achievement or SPSA) as well as gives their vote of confidence on the principal’s Title I budget. SSC is to be comprised of teachers, parents, principal and staff. Every year, members are voted.
Our first meeting will be held on September 15 FROM 5-6:30 pm in Room 18.
Do you want to become a member of the School Site Council? Nominations are open until Sunday August 23rd. Elections will be held August 24-28.
